Making a donation online to support your favorite charitable fund(s) is quick and easy through our PayPal account.  Click on the “Donate,” button below to get started.


How to make my donation online:

  1. Click on the “Donate” button.
  2. Enter in your donation amount and personal information (You don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate and can use your credit card).
  3. Click on “Review Donation and Continue.”
  4. If you are donating to a specific fund, click on the small box with the plus sign next to the “Add special instructions to the seller,” and enter in the name of the fund.  If you are donating to multiple funds, list the name of each fund with the designated amount next to it.

*  All credit/debit card donations are subject to a 2.2% processing plus 30¢ transaction fee.

** Each donor who enters their own credit/debit card information directly online is entering his/her data into a secure web portal provided by PayPal.  The Smith County Community Foundation assumes no liability for credit/debit card information provided by the donor to a third party.

Community foundation accepting spring grant applications

The Smith County Community Foundation is accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications open Friday, February 15 and are due Monday, April 15, 2019. Over $50,000 in grants is available to charitable projects in Smith County through the following funds: Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund - available for programs and projects that address education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification.Smith County Action Fund – available for projects that improve the quality of life for Smith County residents. Smith County Community Foundation awards $50,000 in fall grants

  The Smith County Community Foundation recently awarded over $50,000 to area organizations during its fall grant cycle. Projects were funded through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Smith County Action Fund, the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Smith County and the Health Needs for Smith County Fund. Recipients include: USD 237, $10,000 to purchase Chromebooks for Smith Center Elementary.
