Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611.

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Central account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

Community foundation accepting spring grant applications

The Smith County Community Foundation is accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications open Friday, February 15 and are due Monday, April 15, 2019. Over $50,000 in grants is available to charitable projects in Smith County through the following funds: Dane G. Smith County Community Foundation awards $50,000 in fall grants

  The Smith County Community Foundation recently awarded over $50,000 to area organizations during its fall grant cycle. Projects were funded through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Smith County Action Fund, the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Smith County and the Health Needs for Smith County Fund. Recipients include: USD 237, $10,000 to purchase Chromebooks for Smith Center Elementary.
