Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611.

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Central account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

The Smith County Community Foundation is accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications are due Thursday, November 15, 2018. Over $45,000 in grants is available to charitable projects in Smith County through the following funds: Health Needs for Smith County Fund – available for projects and programs that protect and promote the health and well-being of Smith County residents. SCCF awards over $86,000 in spring grants

  The Smith County Community Foundation awarded over $86,000 to area organizations during its spring grant cycle. Projects were funded through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund and the Smith County Action Fund. Recipients include: St. John Lutheran Church, Athol, $21,501 to create handicap accessible restrooms at the church. USD 237, $11,362 to purchase nine computer workstations loaded with Chief Architect Design Software to enhance the wood technology class curriculum.
